LAKE COMO COLLECTION, FiliFolli® ‘s first collection, was born by being inspired by the material, elegance and preciousness of made-in-Italy silk, by the elegant embroideries and precious lace that find their roots in the history of the province of Varese, and by the hands capable of carving the thin strips of fabric that will adorn future capsules.

FiliFolli® envisions a fashion that stands the test of time, transcending seasonal trends. These garments are designed to become immediate “must-haves” in the wardrobes of those who aim to craft their own style.
Thus was born LAKE COMO COLLECTION, a collection composed of several capsules inspired by the light breeze blowing off Lake Como, from which it steals the delicate colors of pearl gray typical of the water basin before dawn reaches it by climbing over the steep walls that surround it, or the warm, amber tones of the setting sun, when it illuminates and warms the small villages and harbors that line its shores. Or in the classic and elegant black, shiny and soft like silk and tulle, reminiscent of the depth of the night on the lake, interrupted only by the light of a few lucias or motorboats crossing the waters towards prestigious and secluded historic residences.

Here, we want to tell the story of the mastery of skilled artisans, the expertise of prestigious Como silk weavers, and their ability to create intricate embroidery, craft buttonholes, and embellish them with thousands of tiny sequins.
The creation and development of the LAKE COMO COLLECTION proceed slowly and deliberately. The first fabrics cover the worktables, ready to be analyzed, observed, and touched. The fabric itself will dictate the rhythm of the collection.
Our designer will decode its language and compose a symphony where the notes are born from the precious yarns we select.
Fabrics, as well as yarns and combinations never before created, will take center stage.

This is a long, complex, thoughtful, and daring journey.
We aim to create elegant and comfortable garments that dress women’s legs and, if possible, make them even more beautiful and enchanting, using materials typically reserved for other types of clothing.
Lightness and elegance, classic and contemporary, blend delicately to bring life to leggings, shorts, culottes, and trousers, all adorned and embellished with lace, embroidery, and handcrafted applications.
An elegance born of details, care, refined particulars, and high-quality fabrics crafted by hand.
The hemming of the garments is still done with chalk and scissors, with needle and thread. Our seamstresses-but it would be better, to do them the proper honor, to call them seamstresses-are bent over the legging embellished with tiny sequins and over the pants on which they work with scissors and tweezers, poking out small segments of fabric and thread to make out the embroidery cutouts and make the surface smooth and even.
The jersey silk in elegant pearl gray and classic black, and the ribbed silk in a warm amber rust color, evoke the ancient splendor of the Como silk industry. From this heritage, we have drawn the expertise and knowledge to weave this precious and ancient fabric. The laying and cutting of the patterns are performed by hand, as is the finishing of the buttonholes in our embroideries. These are crafted in small workshops equipped with modern looms, ensuring the highest quality control for our garments.

The exclusive design of lace and embroidery
Silk and embroidery are the hallmark of the LAKE COMO COLLECTION, offered in various shades and paired with an ethereal and ultra-light tulle in matching tones. These creations enhance the femininity of the FiliFolli® woman. Leggings in warm amber tulle, adorned with embroidery that accentuates the silhouette, and trousers that combine silk culottes with tulle and refined embroidery to create an elegant and statuesque “odalisque” effect.
The LAKE COMO COLLECTION interprets the concept of Made in Italy along the entire supply chain: from the style, to the research of raw materials, to the packaging.
A collection that wants to speak Italian to a cosmopolitan and international woman, able to appreciate and understand the quality of the products.
For this we selected the yarn, chose the dye, took care of the weaving, patterns and packaging.
In order to offer a unique product, we designed and developed the embroideries, tested them and finally produced them in limited runs.
We reinterpreted the “classic” products of women’s clothing, giving them new charm.
